I'm leaving my comment here regarding McDonald's restaurant on Hghwy 100 & Layton, Greenfield, WI because I don't know how to contact the owner. I was a regular customer at this restaurant until I witnessed how racist SOME of the managers are towards the minority workers, especially African Americans. Mind you I've only witnessed this behavior from white managers. It's so bad that some of these managers side with rude racist customers against the their own crew. THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT! No one should have to be mistreated by customers, let alone by direct authority figures. This is a hostile work environment for these crew members who are mostly young minorities. The crew members don't complain because of fear of losing their jobs or because they have no idea with whom to file a grievance regarding how they're being disrespected and mistreated. In one instance, a drive thru customer called a worker a NIGGER because HE couldn't reach his change and it fell on the ground. The manager's response was that "she shouldn't have dropped his change". It's not the workers fault if a customer doesn't pull close enough to the window to retrieve change. Yet this manager seemed to think the racial slur was warranted evidenced by the response she gave to the worker. I heard another manager refer to another worker as A BIG BLACK GUY, which was totally unwarranted and unprofessional. Hopefully this will reach the owner and he provides REAL management training for these Managers who currently don't deserve to hold these positions.
